Last Season Looks that Cannot Transition to Spring and Summer

After every season we are always so excited to say goodbye to the fashions that we have been wearing for a couple months. Still, old habits die hard and winter clothes are just so gosh-darn comfortable. Even if you really, really want to, there is no excuse for you to be wearing winter clothes if it is no longer the winter season.

Boots, like the super fuzzy and super popular UGG boots, are only appropriate if you are wearing them while there is snow on the ground. As there is no longer snow on the ground in many states, pack away the UGG boots for next year and break out the sandles. It is inevitable that you will wan to reach for the boots that just slide right on and make a quick trip to the store so easy, but resist the urge. If you are wearing shorts there is no reason to be pairing shorts with boots. You will not only look a tiny bit crazy but your feet will also sweat, which is never good.

Another trend that is appropriate for winter but is no longer appropriate for spring is wearing a coat. Now, spring weather can be tricky and there are definately some nights where you will need to wear a sweater, but you should not leave the house with a full winter snow jacket on. Snow jackets are really only fashionable if you are on the ski slops. If the weather has turned cold, pair a cute summer outfit with a light jacket or sweater in a nuetral color, or if you want to look more appropriate for spring, wear something in a bright or pastel color.
